Size – 6 foot x 2 foot (includes cassette fiddle yard).   Taking into account room for operators, stock table (integrated), and room for the painting demonstration, an area of 9 foot by 5 foot is required.

Power – one 13A socket.  We supply our own RCD.

Support – The layout is free standing.

Operating Space – The layout is operated by two operators (so one of us is always available to answer questions, and drink tea!).  The layout is operated from the back, so space for two people/chairs would be appreciated (see above under Size).

Insurance – Insurance for a replacement value of £3,000.00 is required.

Expenses – The layout and its operators live on the Isle of Wight, and it is appreciated that the extra expense of the ferry fare may be more than some exhibitions are prepared to pay.  Therefore, if required, we are happy to absorb this part of our cost.   Unfortunately, we have to ask for exhibition organizers to pay for our petrol and accommodation (where necessary).  This will, of course, be kept to a minimum.   Discount/negotiation available for charities/worthy causes.

Parking – Please arrange for parking for one small hatchback car.

At just 4 ft x 2 ft scenic area, Haven Hill Junction is designed to show what can be done in a small space, without having to sacrifice detail and operational capability.  It is continuous-run with two fiddle yards.  One behind the back-scene to serve the steam and diesel sheds, and factory, and one cassette style (adds 2 ft to the length) to provide a connection with the ‘outside world’.

A figure painting demonstration is also available.   If you would like us to do this, please let us know, and allow an extra space of 3 foot x 3 foot.

We can react very quickly to be at an exhibition (only 3 days notice normally required from initial contact) - allowing you to easily replace any last minute cancellations.
